VAT

All prices are inclusive of UK VAT for UK destinations. The current VAT rate is 20%.
Orders placed outside the UK will have zero VAT applied. This will show on your total when you check out after filling in your address. However your country may charge you the VAT and or a handling charge for items above a certain value. We have tried to get a handle on these charges to make this more transparent, and when we can, we will either tabulate the charges or add them to the price at checkout. But for the time being it will have to be down the customer to pay VAT in the destination country.

Design work

We do not charge for designs for wound components. The designs remain the property of Primary Windings, and as such we may decide to add them to our list of for sale items or sell them to a third party unless by prior agreement with the instigator of the original design.
Once an initial design has been created, an email will be sent to the originator with details of the design along with costings and an estimated timescale for completion of work.
If agreement is forthcoming for manufacture to start, an invoice will be sent, with payment details.
Manufacture will only commence when payment has been received by Primary Windings.
Lead times
Lead times vary depending on the volume of work we have at any moment.
As a general rule please allow 15 working days for your order to be fulfilled. Most orders will need to be wound to order, and this takes time. However we do try our best to keep a small stock of common items. If you order one of these and it is on the shelf, than it will be shipped within 2 working days.
